Question:
How do you apply your foundation?
I have just bought select tint foundation from MAC and the SA put it on with a brush, i have previously always used just my fingers. Would you recommend a brush or a sponge or just stick with fingers?
Also bought MAC Matte with it, its brilliant for stopping shiny skin and its not greasy.
i use a brush, (former makeup artist here!) it's so easy to clean!
sponged i find just drink the foundation up and i hate cleaning them!
fingers is ok but now that i use the brush i wouldn't change back!
so what do you put you foundation in/on to use with a brush, if you understand my extremely bad questioning?
i prefer the finish with the sponge personally but only with certain sponges - not the ones that are rubbery and shiny but are more erm spongey :D
i only use one squirt of foundation to apply and dont get wastage
i just cant get on with a brush and found i dispensed more foundation than i needed and didnt get a good finish
but best finish is using a spray foundation!
I use a brush too. Used to use the MAC 190 (think that's right, the foundation brush!) but now use the 187.
Pump foundation on to the back of my hand, dab the brush in and do my face section by section. I don't put too much on my brush - it's easier to keep adding than try and take off too much.
I use too much foundation with a sponge and it ends up uneven, same goes for fingers.
