Hands Up Who Has Never Tried...
RED Lipstick? I haven't and was thinking about it last night as I was trying on a new Lancome dark burgendy Juicy Tube that I had for Christmas. Who else hasn't tried red and like me why haven't you got round to it?
Those ladies that do what brand do you use and what type of red is it?
I'm so pale I'd just look silly in red lipstick. In fact I hate most lipsticks as they are give too solid a colour - I'm much more a lipgloss or sheer lipstick girl. I've tried a few red lipglosses and they are OK, when I wear full makeup, but are too much for every day for me.
Dior Celebrity 99 (or even 999, can't remember) has been recc'd as a shade to suit everyone.
I bought my first red lipstick before Christmas- MAC Russian Red.
I was suprised by how flattering and easy to wear it was, I felt really glam :D

I used to wear red until I was about 23 (I am now 31) then for some reason I went off it completely and started wearing burgundy and browny pink shades. However I will occassionally wear red still but not for daytime, only on an evening out. If I do wear it, Estee Lauder Pure Colour Long Lasting lipstick in 'Silk Red' is nice as it's quite pearlised so looks glam and not too made up (as I think matt red lipstick often looks).
I haven't. I'm pale with freckles and red hair so think it would be difficult to find a shade to suit me. I tend to stick to browns, nudes and pinks. The closest to red I've ever come is a peachy coral.
