Question:
best sunblock?
as my skin is flaky dry and prone to blemishes and blackheads whats the best sunblock i can buy for my hols?
i am going to use bergaderm on my body but will need stronger for my face as i will be using the BHA lotion
what do you use and how much is it? also do you apply it on top of your normal moisturiser and under foundation
You have the same skin complaints as me and I used the Piz Buin factor 50 one last year, hopefully they'll bring it out again this year. I actually found it quite moisturising, not too oily like some.
I personally didn't use foundation but I would probably think it would be better to make sure it sinks into skin and then apply foundation?
I've always used Boots Own 'Solaire' factor 35 and never had any problems with it.
My skin can also be dry, and I suffer from black heads too.
Hope that helps Manc-Lass?
ohh the boots one i did use last yr - and used the childrens version sunblock on my face so might just do that again then!
but it felt too rich to be used every day at home though

Yes it is quite rich, but I tend to use a little, and smooth it in all over my face so I have a thin layer of it.
And then I don't find the richness too much of a problem.
