any spot pickers out there?

Anyone else out there pick their spots? Its a bad habit I have, but I came across this website www.stoppickingonme.com on another thread and its really helpful. Im actually gonna try not to pick my spots at all anymore, starting now! Cos it does seem to make the problem worse.
Even my boyfriend has been getting at me for picking cos he knows I try to cover it up afterwards. Do any other pickers fancy trying the same thing and we can all see what the results are? no more scars eh? sounds good to me!

If I get a big nasty whitehead I will pop it to drain it but other then that I try to leave them alone.
I've got some lifelong scars from teenagedome from picking them too much.
Probably a good idea not to pick on your skin too much so you don't infect your acne and cause scarring or other problems. Good Luck!
yep it was sparklystuff that posted the link, so thankyou.
i had a look and it made me realise that i have a skin picking habit (not to the extent of 'shredding my face' as described on the site:eek: ) but if ive got a dry spot or a dry bit of skin i will pick at it which has prob caused most of the scarring on my face when i was just blaming my spots for this. i think its a habit alot of people have but dont think about the long term damage they are doing to their skin

I cant help it but i have decided to stop! And occaisonally i still give in or if its a whitehead i make an exception cos they look worse than a red mark

Can't stand the thought of there being pus under my skin, have to pick until it's gone. I know I should stop because I have terrible scars from it but I can't seem to help myself. Must try to stop!!
