Question:
a couple of MAC questions
Hi all
i usually lurk but today i need advice!
i went into MAC and bought a powerpoint eye pencil in ''buried treasure'', does anybody use this and is this a good all round shade, i tend to line both upper and lower lids, i also got a black kohl in 'smoulder' too
Ive got a goldy eyeshadow, ''all that glitters'', do you use this all over the lid? stupid question i know but im really unsure. can this be used in any other way, like smokey mixed with other shades or that black kohl?? (sorry but im clueless)
I also noticed a new lipglass, some crome finish, all very pretty colours, has anyone bought this and what do you think. what looks well on South Asian skin (im light to medium) i dont know how else to describe my colouring, sorry
any advice would be greatly appreciated, im thinking of using these prooducts mostly in the day, mostly at work,
do you think i could get away with lining both upper and lower lids in a black kohl as long as its not too harsh..? :)
Hi Minoo and welcome  ,
I can help with a couple of your questions! I dont know about anyone else but I certainly use All that Glitters all over my lids. I know Dani uses it too so Im sure she'll be along soon to answer this question.
I have asian skin and I adore the lovechild and viva glam v lipglasses. They have a hint of shimmer in it. Havent tried the new chrome lipglosses.

I love the buried treasure powerpoint and think it's a lovely colour. The fluidline in Blitz & Glitz is similar as well both are lovely formulas and long lasting IMO.
I usually wear this liner to work and where I work believe me brights would not go down well.
All that Glitters is good as well and I think suits most skintones and I tend to use it all over the lid as well.
I think this look is glamourous enough but not too much for the work environment.
I'm crap at lining my lower lids so haven't tried this yet but see if it works for you.
thanks for replying guys, i have read some of your posts before and you both seem to give useful tips/feedback. :)
I usually line my lower lids with light brown pencil but i want something a bit more smokier/dramatic, but not too dramatic for work(!) I dont normally smudge kohl/eyel pencil and im not sure whether i should be doing this (im going to have to experiment i suppose)
Carina, regarding Viva Glam V lipglasses, i once had a make over and the assistant used this but i found it too gloopy and uncomfortable, I dont know if MAC do a lip gloss that isnt as ''thick'' if you know what i mean, im used to walking around with bare lips but I would like to try a lipgloss by MAC anyway.
While im here typing away, I just want to say that I am embarrased with the bad grammar in my first post, sorry for the ramble, but it had to be said.
I agree that the lipglass glosses do have quite a thick consistency. Maybe try the lustureglasses then? I have one in shade ornamental and Ive just checked the MAC site and there are some lighter shades available in this range. I always wear plum or deep red shades so Im not much help with regards to more natural looking glosses. Sorry!
Your grammar is fine hun!
