Question:
Where do you go
For just general toiletries. You know high street stuff.
Boots
Superdrug
supermarket
or one of the cheaper chemist type stores. Can't remember the names because there's a few. I love these places for bargains.
Also which one do you prefer. For any specific reason either it's cheaper, more choice etc.
I usually always go to Boots or Superdrug becuse they are the handiest. I probably prefer superdrug if I can find what I want there. It's cheaper and you're often quite likely to find something you don't get elsewhere. My local one is small though and quite often won't have what you're looking for. So I do like Boots for having a good look round it all because they do seem to have everything. I could spend all day in the massive one we have lol. It's a bit dangerous though because they sell so much stuff that it's likely you'll find something you like in every section. Does anyone else go in there and come out with a bag so full it actually looks like you've been food shopping.
I do like the supermarket as well though. What could be better than being able to pass makeup of as groceries. I mean makeup is an essential anyway. It is a bit dangerous though how stuff can just fall into the basket though
Usually Boots or Superdrugs. Superdrugs tends to be cheaper but I often find myself buying things from boots to get my advantage points total up! £120 I have on there now! I reckon I would spend an absolute fortune in boots if our branch had makeup counters.
I like superdrugs for the buy one get one free deals they always have on. My parents run a care home and they always need things like anti bacterial handwash, bubble bath, soap etc for the clients so its great that they always have deals on.

That's a good point about the advantage card Carina. I guess you end up saving just as much money with Boots as Superdrug don't do a card. Oh, I think they should, that would be good. You save money with Boots, especially if you spend your points on something you were going to buy anyway with the advantage points. I'm not very good at that though.
As soon as I see the little balance thing on the receipt and realise I have enough to get something for free I can't resist. Even if it's just a facecloth or something. You're so lucky having that much on your card. You should definately splash out and treat yourself if you have the chance to get to a bigger Boots. I really like some of the brands they do in the larger stores.
I can never bring myself to redeem my points in my little store. Its not worth it really. I usually wait until I go to Bluewater and then I can hit the makeup counters :D. I feel guilty though, spending all the points on myself so to relieve my conscience I let my parents and brother pick out things they want as well. Ive noticed that boots dont send me many double points coupons anymore. I used to get loads but I think Ive only got one this year!
Yes, you are so right, it would be great if Superdrugs did a loyalty card. At the moment I only to go to superdrugs if I know they have deals on.
Savers is another good place. I often get maybelline cosmetics for alot cheaper than in boots.
You need to start saving your points! Think of all the lovely products you can treat yourself too :D

It'll be my new years resolution :D
I think they should make it possible for people to redeem their points online where they stock all the brands they do.
I like savers too, don't have one locally though :(
