bare escentuals v lily lolo
Question:

bare escentuals v lily lolo
  Hi there
I currently use Bare Escentuals and love it but wondered if its the same a Lily Lolo?
Lily Lolo seems a lot cheaper but I wondered if it was just as good?
Thanks

My advice would be to order samples and see. They're dirt cheap and definitely worth the money.
Order foundation samples first, see which one is the right colour for you. Then order a starter kit (£12) which has a mini foundation, a mini blush and a sample of concealer, powder and highlighter. It really is worth the money.

I used to use BE but found it too metallic and it didn't stay on as long as I wanted it to. I have changed to Lily Lolo and as well as it staying on longer and costing less (nearly half the price of BE!) the pot last longer too! Friends that used BE have all converted to Lily too so it must be good :D
I'm addicted to their eye powders too :faint:
Order some samples and see what you think.

Hi, can I just ask about Lily Lilo and how people find it suits them? I ordered some samples a while ago and had to chuck them because it made my face look all powdery and dry. I applied it with a brush. Was I doing anything wrong? Do you use cream or powder blusher with it?

Answers:

Hi Puss,
How were you applying the LL powder? Because a little really does go a long way - you dip the brush in and tap off the excess. Also you need to kind of "buff" it into your skin as you apply, being fairly firm with the brush. This technique works well for me. I use Body Shop bronzing pearls as my blusher and sweep that over the top of the LL powder.
Oh, and you do have to moisturise really well first, and then let it sink in for 5-10 mins before applying.
Hope that's some help!
