Question:
Body Shop Parties
I have been invited to one next Friday and was wondering whether any products are offered at discount prices there. I'm not a huge fan of the Body Shop. The only product I would rave about is the body butters but then again it seems that the consistency of these have changed since I bought some in last year's January sales.
Am hoping there will be loads of products to try out or that there's free wine!
I went to one just before christmas and tbh I was dissapointed. Nothing is discounted and the deals weren't that great. You had to spend quite alot before you could buy say a giftset for a little bit cheaper than normal.
They do pass around alot of products to try on the back of your hands and the lady did a makeup demo on one woman.
The main problem for me was the makeup. She only had samples in bronze/ brown shades all colours suiting darker skin tones whereas i'm fair skinned and suit pinker toned lipsticks/blushers etc and she didn't have any to look at, which I thought was a bit silly.
It did introduce me to hemp hand cream though, which I love and would never have discovered otherwise because I never go into the BodyShop.
Hey, do any of you guys know if they have these parties in edinburgh? i would love to get some good advice on skincare and get to try stuff out. Also how to to personalise your avaitor? I cant find the option to have your own one, just the pre-defined ones they have. ;)
