Dermalogica products are fab for problem skin. Have you tried any of their cleansers before?. The special cleansing gel is great and has kept my skin under much better control than any other cleanser ever has. Dermalogica also do dermal clay cleanser and anti bac skin wash as options for oily/spotty skin. The special cleansing gel is the gentlest out of those though. I'm sure you don't want to use anything too harsh. If it is quite a severe problem though, I think alot of people have had sucess with the other two as well.
I also use boots skin clear cleansing lotion and one touch spot stick. The cleansing lotion is actually in liquid form though, more like a toner. Except it cleans deep down and exfoliates the skin. While I find special cleansing gel the best cleanser to keep my skin under control. The Boots cleansing lotion has practically cleared up my spots all together. I've been using this since last summer and I have nowhere near the problem I had with my skin before. Now I just get the odd spot. It's only £1.99 a bottle. Yet has done more for my skin problems than clarin's, clinique, decleor, philosophy, dior, lush, liz earle, origins and a load of other brands have ever done.
Anyway hope you find something that works for you soon
Also  welcome to the bag. :)

Hi Lel83:wave: Forget lotions and potions, the best thing you can do for your skin is to drink 2 litres of water a day. No excuses! Try it for a couple of weeks and I promise you'll notice a difference! I sound like an infomercial :D

Also, try not to touch your face unless you really need to. When you do, make sure you've washed your hands. It drives me mad to see people playing with their faces non stop  You will have touched door handles, hand rails etc. and picked up loads of germs. Don't transfer them onto your face!

Hi Lel83 welcome to 'The Bag! Hope you have fun here!
I second everything Cherrycoke has said, and also, look at yuor diet, try and eat more fruit and veg, see if that helps at all?
Product wise I'd say, try out, a home made aspirin mask once a week, it won't be a be-all-and-end-all cure, but it will help to dry out and spots you have and reduce any marks left by old ones.
Here's a thread I did December 2005 on Aspirin Mask Hopefully that'll help?

Cheers for the replies. I already drink at least two litres of water a day. I have tried loadsa stuff, things my doctor has prescibed, lotions, potions, even just water, nowt seems to work. I bought some rose water yesterday as I have heard that its good. Does anyone else use rose water? if so what is the best way to use it on bad skin?
