Question:

Face Products
  Hiya,
I currently use Clinique products on my skin. I am running low at the moment but when they run out i don't want to buy anymore as i am trying to save money.
What other high street products can i use for my skin? I am 44 years old, black with very oily skin in t-zone. To be honest i don't think Clinique has worked but i just stuck to it.
I use the Body Shop for moisturizers for my body as they work very well for me. I was just wondering what their face cleansers, toners, moisturisers were like.
Can anyone recommend any products from the Body Shop, Superdrugs or Boots please as these are the only shops that sell facial products in the town where i live. There is a Marks & Spencers but i had a bad reaction with their products once.
Thanks

Hello!
I liked Chilique, but gave up for the same reason - finance :( But recently I use Nivea Q10plus Day Cream (white package) and really like it, it's very moisturising! Nivea also has lotion (I forgot the name but pink bottle), which is good for face wipe.
Hope this helps :)

For oily skin I can recommend the Olay Hydra Gel moisturiser
L'Oreal make a cream cleanser (pink) that is very similar to the clinique one.
I also used to like the Olay Daily Facial Cloths for Combination/Oily skin

this sounds so familiar to me:wave:
I also was a Clinique gal . I used clarifying 4
I gave up to try a cheaper range and tried Garnier and L'Oreal Pure ranges..both have proved excellent for me ..still happy after a year of using these products. I use the gel cleansers and toners and a Superdrug moisturiser for oily skin( about 3 quid from optimum range..but check out L'Oreal and Garnier ranges ..you may not even need moisturiser. I am sure that most skin problems start from over use of moisturisers..us oily birds do not need them really. I use a little , only.
be brave and try another cheaper range..my skin has never been so good and I am 55 !
Puss xx

Thanks for all your replies. I'm going to pop into my local Boots today and have a look at their ranges.
Thanks again.
