Help me girls-recommend a skincare regime
Question:

Help me girls-recommend a skincare regime
As most of you know, I had been using (and singing the praises of) Liz Earle's Cleanse and Polish and Skin Tonic.
Unfortunately, it cleared more than I was bargaining for, and I ended up getting the worst spots I've ever had. I've now got a scar from the huge lump that didn't come to a head, and have marks from the spots that cropped up around my mouth and chin.
Honestly girls, I was so shocked when I looked in the mirror a week ago, my face was an absolute mess, I even had spots in my hair line :(
So, I'm steering clear of the Liz Earle. I'm not 100% certain that's what caused them, but I don't want to take my chance.
Consequently, I'm on the lookout for a new skin care regime.
Anyone got any recommendations for products that leave the skin soft, glowing, and don't cost the earth?
Would go back to Olay Polisher as it did make my skin look amazing, I'm just a bit wary of all the chemicals :cmdunno:
Any thoughts appreciated!!

Jen this is exactly what's happened to me since using Liz Earle! I just posted a thread called My Skin! Have a look at my exact same issues!
I really don't know what to suggest because I am in the same boat as you. So if you get any suggestions I will probably try too!

Oh Jen, I'm sorry the Liz Earle stopped working for you. :( Could the spots you've been getting be hormonal or because of the food you've eaten over Christmas? I've had a few spots over the Christmas period & I think it's because of the rich food I've eaten & also because I haven't been eating properly - just picking at things really.
Can't recommend a good skincare regime I'm afraid as I'm still loving the Liz Earle but maybe try something gentle & not too harsh?
Actually, Boot's Dead Sea range is very good & is supposed to help with spots & other skin conditions so that might be worth a try? I use the facial wash as a body wash every other shower/bath as I find most body washes too harsh for my sensitive skin & it's very soothing. :)
Hope you find something that works for you chick! :fingers:

How long have you been using it for?
Only when I was using Eve Lom, (also with the muslim cloth) after 3 weeks my skin broke out in huge spots, but it soon started to clear, and when I perservered, it gave me fantastic skin - it just needed to clear out the gunk to start with, iykwim?

Hiya Jen
I tried Liz Earle over 6 months ago and I found the exact same thing happen to me, so I stopped using it and have been using clean and clear ever since.
I think I am going to try simple products as I have sensitive skin and don't want any perfumed products.
Hope you find something that works for you!!
