Aqueous cream
Question:

Aqueous cream
Hi there, my friend has been prescribed aqueous cream by her doctor who says its better than E45 and cheaper. I have always used E45 before. Does anyone use this as a facial moisturiser aswell as on their body, my friend doesn't use it on her face.

Answers:

Its normally for people with some kinda skin prob like eczema etc. Also good for sensitive skin when nothing else works. I have really reactive/sensitve skin, terrible broken capilleries and inflammation but have not resorted to it yet.......I'm sure it won't be long until I have to :(

ETA It can be used as a moisturiser and a cleanser

Answers:

Depends on the person, it works like a dream on some people and causes a reaction in others.
I have ridiculous skin and I love it. I use it as a body moisturiser and body and facial wash and have never had a problem.
It's worth a go, it costs nothing next to the price of E45 cream and wash.

Answers:

I use it as a cleanser, but I find it too thick to use as a moisturiser.

Hi, thanks for your replies. I do have eczema and sensitive skin, have always used E45 but the cream and wash together do get expensive. The cream lasts ages so thats not so bad but the wash doesn't last very long and the pump soon clogs up.

When you use aqueous as a cleanser do you remove eye make up with it or do you use wipes or something aswell?

Geri and Cinnaman Bun, what do you use as a facial moisturiser?
