make-up guide/book
hey girls, it's my younger sisters bithday coming up soon, she'll be thirteen and she's asked for make up etc. suprise :rolleyes: lol. well i thought it'd be nice to also get her a book to show how to apply make-up. i know really it's trial and error, but just for the basics, i know i could've done with one at her age! i just thought you girls might have some recs :-) thanks in advance! x
Theres loads on Amazon to choose from if you do a search. I like Vogue beauty and Carmindy's 10 mintue face which gives loads of application tips.

its not just make up, its like about loving urself for who u are and includes bits about braces and has pics of makeovers and u see her neice and her friends at her sweet 16 party which bobbi does!!!
it doesnt really include how to put it on as such but its good for colours and the basic stuff! and what suits u

Another rec for Bobbi Brown: Teenage Beauty. I bought it for myself as a birthday present at 16 and I still love it. It's got a lot of emphasis on all different types of beauty and loving yourself, as princessrule says, and it encourages a lovely natural type of makeup which is good at that age! (Though there is a section on prom/party type makeup for bolder looks) You can buy it on Amazon for £10.39
