Bobbi Brown or Mac brushes?
Question:

Bobbi Brown or Mac brushes?
I'm still after some new make up brushes and was all set to invest in some Mac ones but what's put me off slightly is that on the w/site you can't tell the length of the handles. I know I could go instore and look but tbh the sales assistants scare me slightly!
I've recently got the Bobbi brown stonewashed nudes pallette and it came with a double-ended brush which is really quite nice. I looked on BB w/site and I see they do shorter handled brushes which I prefer as I travel quite a lot and these are easier to pack.
But.... has anyone else tried other BB brushes ( I quite like the look of the short handled set and adding to it) or does everyone here still think Mac are still best?
I know this is a bit of a rush and I've left it late but I was thinking of going shopping tomorrow so any quickish replies would be much appreciated.:D
Thanks
dot.

I've never used Bobbi Brown brushes so I can't really compare but I adore MAC brushes...

Hey dot!

I have Bobbi browns face blender brush, its short handled and i love using it with my shimmer brick!

But Overall i have to say MAC is the BEST for brushes!! I don't like long handled brushes either (im quite fussy), i prefer short handled!
The new short handled brushes are from the Novel twist range, you get 5 brushes! I bought both sets! I bought the blue one from MAC, and the pink one from EBAY! You can still get the short handled novel twist sets from ebay! They are gorgeous! :D

Thanks for the quick replies :)
I really like the idea of the short handled Mac brushes but even at the grand old age of 36 I've never got anything off ebay - I think it's the worry of being ripped off with fakes that worries me:( So I'd quite like to get them in store if possible.
Why can't Mac just do short handled brushes as standard rather than only in limited edition sets

I prefer MAC brushes. Ive got two Bobbi Brown face blender brushes that have shed like crazy. MAC brushes are softer and always give a flawless finish. I also have a Bobbi Brown concealer brush which feels quite scratchy so no, I dont really rate their brushes.
