Question:
aqueous cream
can i use this as a cold cream kind of cleanser and if so how long do i leave it on for?
secondly, can i use it as a night cream? as i'm using neals yard but don't want to use it all the time as its expensive and not that nice smelling!!
should i use aloe vera as a night cream instead?
thx. feeling a bit confoosed

I find it to be quite a heavy cream as it is an emolient to be used on extremely dry skin, I use it as a face wash sometimes & it seems to do the trick for me. Are you just looking for something deeply moisturising?
to be honest i'm not sure. I just want to use something that is quite mild and doesn't seem to cost the earth.
I tried it tonight before getting changed for bed and yes you're right it is a bit on the heavy side even though i didn't think it would be. I think I may just stick to my ponds cold cream cleanser as it has a lighter feeling.
Perhaps it'll be something i use when i feel uber sensitive about my skin. I'm on the quest as many of us are for smooth skin. At 30, I know i should improve my diet, but i also want to try and source my holy grail products.
Thanks for your suggestions though. you were right

I've been using The Body Shop Shea Body Butter recently on my face, just a little bit and it's been really quite good, I've got combination skin so on some places it has been a bit too much but I counter that with using a matte cream on top if I need it. I suggest using something like that, shea butter is also good for your skin and can help with any scarring you might have, it's really versitile. I've got quite sensitive skin too & have found shea butter great! It can be expensive but I tend to buy in bulk off ebay - works out so much cheaper & can double up as part of a gift for my friends if they're into body butters!
I've got heaps of shea butter at home that my dad brought me back from Ghana. My son uses it and i think i will use it at night too
Thanks
