I've got similar skin to what you've described, I've found that washing my face everyday with just soap and water gently helps keep spots at bay, using these superdrug face wipes at night to remove make-up and using TBS shea body butter as an all over moisturiser (I just use a tiny amount of it on my face as a little goes a long way with this stuff) and my skin has really started getting better (a few people have commented on it too) another thing I'd like to suggest is drink LOTS of fluids, it doesn't necessarily have to be water but making sure you're drinking plenty really helps flush toxins out, I've been drinking lots of fruit juices, water & tea & have seen a vast improvement.
