Question:
I've just booked myself in for a waxing...
As the title says! It's for full leg & brazillian - what can I take to numb the pain beforehand, bearing in mind I've got to drive home after, so a drink before is out of the question unfortunately!
take some paracetamol about an hour before you go.
I get a full hollywood done and it helps ease the pain.
I got mine done yesterday and she used some really good wax on me, doesn't get that hot and is much less painfull. The way she described it was a Creme Wax. Very good indeed. I find sugar and the other was far too hot!
Good Luck!

I must be weird 'cos it just doesn't hurt me. But as above take paracetamol before, that's about all you can do really. And wear loose clothing as it might be painful if you then have to walk round in skinny jeans or something!

Ooowwww!
You, my lovely, are very brave! Does it not cause ingrown hairs?
Ive had to give up waxing for just now because of the mess a brazillian leaves my flower in with trapped hairs!
Thanks everyone! I've only got ibuprofen at hand so I guess that will be just as good, if not better than paracetamol! I was going to wear a skirt as I thought I might need something loose - but then realised with the amount of hair on my legs people might think I was a man in drag, so I've got some loose jeans (couldn't find anything else).
About the ingrown hairs... I was told that if I exfoliate like mad when I have a shower then I should be ok, and use a cream that's supposed to prevent them starting - is that what you all do, if so what do you use exactly?
Getting a bit nervous now!
