Question:
Skin Peeling
I'm looking for some advice really. I'm thinking about having a facial peel at a salon, but i'd like to know what the aftermath is like, are there any side effects and will I get the results I want.
The problem with my skin is that its got loads of little pimple bumps and just an uneven surface. I would like for this is be smoothed out as I otherwise have pretty clear decent skin.
Will I have to have numerous sessions to see any difference?

I would expect you to see a difference after one treatment, but that doesn't mean that only one will be enough.
Your skin will probably be quite red afterwards (and you can't put make up on straightaway to cover it) and after a couple of days will start to flake off. It depends on the salon, what strength acid they use and so on, but most people find it hurts/burns while it's on. I recommend NOT going in the few days before a period, when you're most sensitive to pain!

Def go for it but don't expect miracles! I had a green peel.
I hid for 4 days, gets worse towards the end :P
Hey,
The only chemical peel I've ever had was a fruit acid peel. Completely painless, no redness but really good at clearing out my skin and helping with scarring.
Hope this is a help x
