MAC foundation primer
  What exactly does this do and does it alter the look of foundation at all?

Do you apply it after moisturiser?

Hiya,
It "primes" the skin for your foundation and basically helps it stay put for longer. You use it after your moisturiser. I've tried a couple of different ones over the past few of years and think that this is the best one. It has silicone in it (but not too much like some) and basically evens out the skin. It doesn't appear to alter the colour of my foundation in anyway although some folk says it gives a glowly effect....can't see that myself. Get yourself a sample and try it :)

It probably will dry it out a bit. My skins really dry and although I like it as it evens out my skintone, it makes it feel really dry when I take my MU off.
