Question:
Hair dye stains on my skin
After dyeing my hair, I've now got marks left over from it on my face. Forgot to use vaseline
Does anyone have tips for getting it off. Without being too harsh on my skin. I used to use that clinique clarifying toner if I ever got any little marks on my skin. Made a much bigger mess this time though and don't want to be scrubbing so much of my skin with that.
:)
I've done that before, and I used a facial scrub, which faded it a bit. The only problem with that, is that, again, if you're scrubbing your skin it could end up looking a bit red.
wet a bit of cotton wool, then put some whitening toothpaste on it, then rub at the stains with that. It always works for me (I use Janina toothpaste). Rinse and dry afterwards though.
to prevent it next time, try rubbing vaseline on your forehead/temples/ears before you put the dye on. I do this in the hairdressers and they don't mind at all!

Yeah, I have the type of skin that gets very easily irritated with scrubs etc. Thanks for the tip anyway sugar_sprinkles.

Ooh, I've never heard that before. I'll give that a go, I have janina as well. So hopefully it will work for me as well.
Thanks everlast :)
