Please help me find a new foundation!
Question:

Please help me find a new foundation!
  Hello girlies!

I'm looking for a new foundation, and I thought with all your awesome combined knowledge you might be able to lend a hand....

I'm currently using Benefit Some Kinda Gorgeous, though I've got a bit bored of it to be honest... I'm looking to spend around the same amount (£20 - £25) and have been looking at Mac Mineralise Satinfinish as I have a Mac counter near me.... (also it will be my first very exciting Mac purchase! :yay:)

Having read the reviews on MUA though, it seems to make people a bit spotty... I don't normally have trouble with spots, but by the end of the day my forehead is a bit greasy (I have a fringe though) and my cheeks stay dry. Has anyone else used it and broken out?

Failing any recommendations for Mac MSF, I'm looking for a liquid (I think as that would be most moisturising?) that gives light to medium coverage (just need to hide some redness on my cheeks, a bit of dark circles round my eyes and a few spot scars) around the £20 - £25 mark. I'm really not a fan of Clinique or Clarins, and not really sure what other make-up counters I have near me....

Any recommendations most gratefully received!

Thanks in advance

Hi there!
I haven't tried MAC foundations but I know many ladies on here have so ladies give us your MAC reccies.
I've tried Chanel foundations and they are lovely, around £20 and very silky finish to most of them.

I started using Clinique Superbalanced a few weeks ago and am really pleased with the results. It blends really well and feels very light on the skin. Think its around £18/19.

Also I have problems with redness on the skin too and after reading some people raving about it on here I tried the Smashbox Photo Finish Primer green version (available from justbeautydirect.co.uk, about £10) and recommend this. It evens out skintones nicely and feels very smooth and makes foundation easier/better to apply. However if you don't want to spend as much Rimmel do an anti-redness (Rimmel Recover Perfect Skin) one also which is about £5. :)
