Question:
ebay query - bid on fake MAC brush
Hi there,
Being stupid I bid on it before checking it out on specktra as kindly advised here.
It turns out it is a fake and I am currently winning this auction and don't know what to do. I've tried reporting it but I cant as I havent paid for it. I have emailed the seller saying I won't pay if I win as its a fake.
Any ideas on what else I can do?
Thanks :)
Have you asked her to remove your bid?
If she won't and you do win, and she opens a non-paying bidder dispute you'll have the chance to tell ebay about it being fake.
It might cost you some feedback though.
Fingers crossed she just wants to sell it without too much fuss.
Thanks keropi,
No I didnt ask her to remove my bid - i didnt realise that could be done! :o
Maybe she will automatically do it after what I've said???
you should withdraw your bid, i think you are allowed to if you have good reasons! and you should report the seller to ebay too to stop him conning gmore people!
Yes, you should be able to cancel your bid yourself, and definitely report the auction to eBay so others aren't taken in.
