Moisturiser Recs for Roaccutane skin
Question:

Moisturiser Recs for Roaccutane skin
Im currently on Roaccutane and my skin has gone really dry. I tried Eucerin and Aquaous Creme but my skin erupted in spots. I feel they were too rich and oily for my skin and have blocked up my pores. Im hoping someone can recommend a good moisturiser that wont block my pores any further but will help with the dryness.
Thanks!

How about Clinique Moisture Surge extra, its an oil free gel if I remember correctly and should help with it. Good luck!

Hi JSS
I was on Roaccutane a few years ago and I know what you mean, its a fine balance between something nourishing enough but that won't break you out!
I found Simple Light Moisturiser to be quite good for my sensitive face, it doesn't contain any irritants and smoothed out the dry bits really well. If you are still quite dry maybe try the richer Simple Hydrating Moisturiser? Don't forget to use a high SPF as well.
When you come off the Roaccutane definitely try Environ Anti-Oxidant Gel - its an oil free, antibacterial hydrating gel that contains high doses of Vitamin A. It will help to keep your skin clear and you'll still get your Vit A while coming off the high dose that's in the Roaccutane. Its an absolute godsend for all skin types, I wouldn't be without it!

I've had this problem too and tried lots of different creams out. What I found worked best was oil free, non-fragranced perfumes that aren't anything fancy IKWIM.
Ooo I just came on here to rec the Simple Light Moisturiser too PB! Its a really nice moisturiser and doesn't contain any perfume and is oil free. Also Boots own make Moisturising Cream which is fragrance free and is in a blue pot is really great too but a little heavier.
