Question:
makeup brushes
Hi ladies :wave: have been sorting out my makeup brushes and wondering if I need any new ones or if in fact I should be cutting down.I have my mac 187 which is great and a few other blusher brushes plus a few eye brushes.So being nosy I wondered how many brushes you all had and what your fave are! :D
I have a powder brush by Make Up For Ever, which is nice but I would like a new powder brush which is a bit larger.
I have the No7 Ultimate Face and Body Brush (like the MAC 182) for applying bronzer/highlighting powder/blusher etc.
I use the MAC 217 brush as a concealer brush, I find it much easier to use than those small concealer brushes.
For my eyes I have a Ruby & Millie eyeshadow brush, the MAC 266 slanted liner brush and the MAC 219 Pencil Brush, all of which I use almost every day - these 3 are definitely my favourite brushes :)
I'm not sure how many brushes I have, but nearly all my brushes are Ruby and Millie. The only ones which aren't are a foundation brush I got from Avon (and still havent used), and a blusher brush, which I can't remember where I got, but I rarely wear blusher so that doesn't get used much.
My brushes are all jemma kidd. I have a kabuki brush for my face, and then I bought a set which has a blusher brush plus 4 eye brushes (one large, one small, one for lining and one which I use for blending). I have a No 7 eyeliner which has a smudge thing on the end, but for everything else I use my fingers.
I have:
MAC 187 for blushers/shimmerbricks etc
MAC 311 Lipliner brush for gel eyeliners-anything bigger than this and I get very cack-handed!
B.E Kabuki for mineral foundation
TBS Foundation brush for liquid foundation
Cosmopolitan travel size brush set-use the lip/eye brushes the most and these are pretty good. I did find though that the blusher/foundation brushes moulted so much like many synthetics so prefer my MAC/TBS for this.
