Question:
Stella McCartney perfumes
Hiya girlies:wave:
Was testing out the stella perfumes in boots today, then went into House of fraser. Thing is am a bit confused as to how many there actually is???
In boots they had two, a peony one & a one in a black/purple bottle - which is the one I like.
I've a feeling theres more than this. If anyone knows all the stella perfumes, if they could list them or something for me that'd be great, have heard of there being a rose absolute one as well, but totally confused now, hehe.
Any help ????
hello um all i know is that the first one to come out was the black and purple bottle (which i LOVE) just called stella. and then there was rose absolute and also there is a stela in two now. im a little bit confuzzled because there seem to be other versions of the original stella like the pure perfume with a glass applicator....hmm they all seem quite similar. how unusual
lol sorry im not much help
You're both correct :) The first one, as dooz said, is the purple and black bottle simply called Stella (I have a tiny roll on one and I absolutely adore it. It gave me images of meadows and meadows of endless roses! I can be seen sniffing my wrists maniacally throughout the day!)
They do have Stella in 2, link from sephora here This perfume, you can either wear the EDT alone or layer the solid over. It's rather interesting, really.
Finally, there's one more from the Stella in 2 family, the solid one called Stella In Two Amber Parfum Solid
I still prefer the original Stella :)
PS-all links are from sephora because I don't know where else to get them. And I'm in no way affiliated with them :D

so in that case, is the Rose Absolute the original one then?? am still confuzzled over this. And does the original one smelly rosey as well??? I love the smell of the one in the purple/black bottle but am well confused:lol:
 Dani California, I don't blame you for being completely confused. I was too until I was bored enough one day to surf around in Sephora all the while drooling all over my keyboard
This is what I found out :)
Rose Absolute is this and I believe the original is Stella, link here
The bottle does look rather similar and I know the original Stella definitely smells of roses. They have one new one too called Sheer Stella which is not found in Sephora but I saw it in a local little perfume shop here. I believe it's an EDT and it's similar to the orginal Stella.
Hope that helps and that I didn't confuse you more.
