Anything to help my skin after threading / waxing?
Question:

Anything to help my skin after threading / waxing?
I'm going for a facial threading and leg/underarm waxing session tomorrow, the stuff that my salon uses isn't sufficient to heal the tender skin and I was thinking of buying something - tea tree, witch hazel or something to help my skin afterwards and stop it doing this :o
Is there anything anyone can recommend - oil, lotion - which is better? A specific product from Boots or the body shop?
Thanks in advance.

i have threading done and it leaves the area a bit red and sensitve for a while-tea tree and witch hazel will sting.I found a soothing aloe vera gel from holland &barrett and i use a tiny amount of that to calm the skin down.It also helps to splash face with cold water before and after the treatment.

I have really suffered after bikin waxing and I find that both sudocream and bio oil help (not at the same time)!

Answers:

Never tried Aloe Vera on it and your shunted out of the salon for the next client, so dont have time for washing or sudocreame which'll make my face all white and 'creamy'.
Thanks for the suggestions tho. :tar:

i forgot to mention my friend who is really into beauty etc always sprays herself with an evian waterspray after face threading and also sprays it onto her armpits to soothe .Apprently that way she has no stinging and no redness.
