Question:
Please help!
Hi,
In my teens I used to suffer with really bad, painful spots. Once I hit 21 they really calmed down. Now however, my skin has broken out in lots of painful, red spots.
I currently use TBS Vit E cleanser, toner and moisturiser, and Revlon colour stay soft flex foundation (i need something that lasts all day, which this did, but now get shine breakthrough on my nose).
can anyone recommend anything that will help get rid of the spots?
Thanks
well I would DEFINITELY reccomend loreal pure zone ( if thats what they are called!) wipes ( in the blue packet)! and Lushs mask of magnaminty! both AMAZING and having suffered from spots for years I can honestly say that I almost have the clear skin I dreamed of thanx 2 these 2 products!

This is my answer to all skin care problems but I would recommend Liz Earle Hot Cloth Cleanser and Light moisturiser, it's only available online at www.lizearle.com and there are trial size sets available if you are dubious about trying it, but search the forums on here, it's highly recommended.
The cleanser is a creamy, rich cleanser which you take off with a muslin cloth, which exfoliates your skin as it removes the cleanser and all make up and impurities.
Its worth looking into anyway! Hope this helps
:D
lt could be something playing about with your hormones so might be worth going to see the doctor for a prescription.
If not, definately go with something natural/organic like Lush or Liz Earl. You really want to avoid any brands that use the laureth/lauryl suphates in the cleansers or alcohol in their toners because they can ruin and might even sensitize your skin!
I'm using Liz Earl Cleanse and Polish right now, which I've been using for over a year and the only spots I get are either very occasional or self inflicted by squeezing blackheads. I've also used Angels on bare skin from lush and I've found it really effective, skin feels super clean afterwards.
If you wanted to go further, maybe try a facemapping by Dermalogica, where they'll pick out products that are right for your skin type!
Thanks for all the advice, will look into liz earle, have seen it mentioned a lot on various threads
