How do I limit my skin care routine - am I doing too much?
Question:

How do I limit my skin care routine - am I doing too much?
  Hi there,
I am really looking forward to trying it all out all the Dr Hauschka bits that I just got (see my other thread) but it has now got me thinking that I have just bought Paula's Choice BHA and I want to do my usual routine with the PC to see if it helps before adding new products to my skin care routine.
I am now using a face wash, then PC and then Olay complete care with SPF 15 in the morning, and then in the evening using Neutrogena visibly clear, No.7 P & P and then Olay beauty fluid. I am also using MOM as a mask. How am I going to incorporate in the Dr Hauschka if I like it! Ahhhh too many nice things...

Answers:

Am not sure how best to incorporate it but I would say that if you just 'listen' to your skin it will soon tell you if you are overloading it with products. :)

I agree :) If my skin doesn't like something it will soon let me know (either in the form of spots or rash   )
I would stick to what you have been using recently, for another week to a month, then gradually add in your Dr. Hauschka products so you can see if you get any adverse reactions.

Hmmm, well I am wondering whether I should give up on the No.7 P & P, it doesn't seem to have done much and may well have made my spots worse... I just can't remember whether they got worse about the time I started using it.

Yeah, generally if I don't see a big difference with a product, I stop using it. I don't like layering too many things on my face because it just feels like I am clogging up my pores with all these ingredients :cmdunno:
