Pimples Under my Skin!
Question:

Pimples Under my Skin!
  Hi there
I recently changed my skin care routine to try the Seaweed range from the Body Shop, at first I thought it was nice but I think my skin thought differently as since using it I've had these horrible little pimples under the skin on my forehead, nose and chin! I've stopped using it now and have gone back to what I was originally using but I can't seem to get rid of them now. They are also around my ears and neck. You can't really notice them unless the light catches them but to me they look and feel awful :(
Does anyone know of anything that might help to clear these up? I've been using Quinoderm cream for acne but this is quite drying and I'm worried I might be making it worse.
Any suggestions would be gratefully received!

Hi Simbastar

I would advise you to see your GP, rather than waste money going out and buying products. Not sure if you got that other cream on prescription? But if you talk to your doctor i'm sure they can tell you whats best to use. Maybe antibiotics would be better for you in order to avoid drying out the skin..

Good luck!

hi

if you think its the TBS seaweed stuff thats done this to your skin, have you tried a deep cleansing face mask such as lush magnaminty. that should help sort out your pores. If the pimples are small and white-ish, it probably is because the cream was too heavy for your skin and you need a light moisturiser such as boots botanics pore defnining moisturiser

sudocrem will also help heal the spots without being too drying - perhaps you could limit quinoderm use for just at night?
