Question:
a challenge for all the makeup ladies!
right ladies i have a wee idea for a thread!
i have quite a few eyeshadows and although eye make up is my thing and i can pull off a range of different looks,i want to really combine and mix eyeshadows and create even more looks, the more brighter and drag queen ish the better!
if i write a list down of the shades i have then maybe ideas from people can start flowing.
If we all post a list of our stuff the idea is we get inspiration and ideas(and proberly a damaged bank account!)
il start.
Mac pigment in Tan(as it says on the tin!)
Mac pigment in dark soul(a black with a slight shimmer)
Mac pigment in cornflower(not inpressed with this at all, although it was suggested i layer it with electric eel)
Mac eyeshadow in contrast
Mac eyeshadow in sweetlust
Mac eyeshadow in Trax(another i dont get on with, seems a bit boring)
Mac eyeshadow in Black Tied
Mac eyeshadow in Deeptruth
Mac eyeshadow in Carbon
Mac fluid line in rich ground
Mac eyeshadow in eletric eel
Mac pigment in silver
Mac eyeshadow in creme de violet
Mac eyeshadow in femme noir
Mac pigment in old gold
Mac pigment in Teal
Mac pigment in golden lemon.
I normally combine old gold with femme noir and like the idea of more combos with pigement on one half of the lid and eyeshadow on the outer.
I would also to love.love.love to find a use for my pigment in golden lemon.
over to you!
Great thread!
I love wearing golden lemon with teal
My favourite combination is all girl with aquadisiac
I have the following MAC items:
Pigments: All girl, Quietly, Steel Blue, Teal, Golden Lemon, Helium, violet, lovely lily, pink mauve, apricot pink, goldenaire, golden olive, gold dusk, kitschmas, aire-de-blu
Eyeshadows: Shroom, Aquadisiac, steamy, shimmermoss, hush, jewel blue, swish, beautiful iris, tilt, slip pink, freshwater, swimming, creme de violet
ooh what a great thread idea :)
I've got the following: Pigment - Violet
Eyeshadow - Cranberry, Firespot, Cosmic, Claire de Lune, Electric Eel, Steamy, Big T, Romping, Wondergrass, Going Bananas, Eyepopping, Fab & Flashy, Bang on Blue, Nocturnelle, Endless Love, Bronze, Twinks, Black Tied.
I love using Black Tied as a liner on top of Fluidline Blacktrack.
I mix Steamy, Big T, Electric Eel and Bang on Blue for big 80s eyes.
I use Going Bananas, Fab & Flashy, Cosmic, Firespot, Cranberry and Romping to make a flame-eyes look.
I use Violet as a wash of colour with Nocturnelle in the crease, Endless Love on the lid and Black Tied as a liner for a smoky purple look.
For a neutral look, I use Claire de Lune as a wash, and blend Bronze and Twinks on my lid and out to create a slightly oval upwards shape.
You could use cornflower with electric eel and trax, and silver pigment as a liner for an 80s inspired drag queen look? :)
