Question:
MAC eyeliner broken. argh! help!
i bought the mechanical mac eyeliner about a month ago (http://www.maccosmetics.co.uk/templa...T_ID=PROD71032)
i was using it yesterday and i put the lid at the back of the pencil like you do with a pen and.... it got stuck. finally i took it off after much effort and the back bit of the eyeliner (the bit that twists the eyeliner) has jammed inside the lid. so now i cant twist the eyeliner and neither can i put the lid on it. it is in effect a useless piece of plastic now.
im very annoyed because i paid a whole £11.50 for it. is it worth complaining?
I'd take it back and ask for an exchange :)
BTW, are these eyeliners any good (when they're not broken :D) ? Are they nicely soft and smudgeable like the Kohls? I quite fancy the Earthline one :think:
oh yes it was the best eyeliner ive ever had! and no need for sharpeners was an obvious bonus. stayed on for aaages too.
im too scared to go back, i cant even tell how much i have left. thing is without the lid it dries up easily and chunks of it have started falling off. im so pissed off. perhaps when i have a brave day :)

im too scared to go back, i cant even tell how much i have left. thing is without the lid it dries up easily and chunks of it have started falling off. im so pissed off. perhaps when i have a brave day :)

I'd try taking it back. Once I got an eyeshadow there, a lustre one & I had a bit of a reaction to it, so thought well, its no good to me. Believe me ,I'm the most scared person, I never take anything back, but this I did. Stood there & told the rather cross looking woman I had a reaction - she said she doesn't normally do refunds or exchanges - but THIS time, she would do it. Was amazed!!!!! Little ol' me got an exchange for All that glitters.
If I can do it????;) Tell them it broke & you not happy, and you'd like a new one. You'll be much happier. ;)
