Question:
Gift from Benefit..can I swap without receipt?
I was given some Benefit make up for Xmas. I got a lip palette, You Rebel tinted moisturiser and Bad Gal mascara.
I have already got the mascara and don't wear lipstick or tinted moisturiser so wondered if I could swap these products for others without a receipt.
Does anyone know the Benefit policy on this? Thanks x
Hi. I think without a receipt you will have a problem returning your products. I work for Benefit in a Boots store, Boots policy is they do not refund or exchange on cosmetics. Also without a receipt you can't prove that they were purchased from the store you try and return them to. It's a shame when you get things you already have or won't use, have you thought about selling them on ebay?
not much chance returning a msacara anywhere i think!
also what lip palette is it? i didnt think they had one at the moment?
with a lot of the beauty counters each store ie debenhams selfridges etc buy the stock from benefit etc then sell it on so theyd need to know it came from their store if you get what i mean
you could always tell the gift buyer you had a reaction.....
dont think anywhere will swap makeup without a reciept or if opened. if you havent touched it and they wont change it use it as a gift for someone else:)

It's a shame I can't swap any of it as there is so much other make up I want from Benefit!
I received the gift from a secret santa that my OH family do. There's no way I can find out who gave me it....it's top secret!! :rolleyes:
