Question:
Spot UNDER my skin?!
Hey all - im not sure if this is the right thread to post this on but...
Ive have what feels like a spot under my skin, located on my chin. I cant feel it if i pass my finger over it but if i press harder it feels like a spot under my skin, its hard and round... but i cant see it.
Im just puzzled as to what it is, and its been on my chin for about a month now so im starting to get a little worried... i cant seem to find any answers on google either...
any suggestions?
I've had one of these on my chin for the past few weeks aswell (it looks so gross! :boohoo: ), the swelling has gone down gradually but I think it's just one of those annoying lumpy spots with no head that take ages to go away! :cmdunno:
Yep - I think it's probably just what Fizzy described.
Don't squeeze it! Or you'll just have a sore, red chin - sexy! Maybe just try and apply some Lavender or 2%BHA to sooth the area.
Sounds like a cystic spot. If you have access to a dermatologist you can have it injected but sometimes you can be left with a dink in the skin instead.
I used to get these very rarely but then they started coming monthly and, being a fiddler, I ended up with a few really nasty infections where I'd picked and stuck tweezers in them. My doc took one look and prescribed me Dalacin T which I now just dab on when I feel them coming. Problem solved. Even if I miss one and it pops up large and quite red, it'll go quite quickly with a few applications.
I use Dalacin T it is fantastic for 'under the skin spots'
;)
