Question:
Why is this happening to my make up?
Hi
I have been using Revlon colourstay for combination skin for a while now.
I love the coverage and the fact that it is long lasting. In the winter I usually apply it over Boots No7 highlighting lotion, and recently I have been applying it over Max Factor colour adapt shimmer natural, to give me a bit of a glow.
Yesterday I applied it on its own, and it sank right into my pores and made them look huge! This also happens if I mix the foundation with the Revlon lustrous lotion (or over this product aswell).
Does anyone know why this happens? I use a moisturiser (simple) and let it sink in before I apply my make up... its very weird!
I have found this happens to my make up sometimes and as my skin is oily the pores can be more obvious, so use the studio fix to make my face more matt, also if your skin is oily the luminzer could be the problem as it can set into the skin but i would recommend a primer under your make up and use cold water to wash your face before applying makeup and also the mac fix spray under you foundation and over it may help.
A primer would work well for this problem :) Clarins Beauty Flash Balm is great & gives your skin a real glow as well :great: I used it when we had that really hot weather back in April/May & my makeup looked so fresh all day. It puts up a sort of barrier between your skin & foundation so I think it would definitely help stop makeup sinking into your pores :)
You can get it from most department stores but it's probably best to use pricerunner as it's a lot cheaper online.
