Question:
Anyone else having problems with lookfantastic deliver?
Hello all!
I know there is an ongoing on/off postal strike, but my last 2 orders with lookfantastic have taken quite a long time to be delivered. I used to get my orders w/in 2 days, but the second-to-last one took 6 days and the last one has taken 8 days and counting.
Just wondering if it's me having some bad delivery luck or them?
Thanks!
Elliemae
Aww im sorry to hear about that.
I have always been very pleased with lookfantastic delivery, they are always prompt and well packaged. I have not ordered anything from them in the last 2 weeks.
Maybe you should email customer services with your querie. Im sure there is a valuable explanation.
Island Cosmetics
Depending what you are buying, you could also try a site like islandcosmetics.com. A friend of mine used them and the delivery was super fast, also, i think they might be based in the channel islands somewhere, so it might be tax free. Anyway, all their prices include delivery, for instance you can have touche eclat bought and delivered to your door for under £15, whereas lookfantastic sell it for about £17. Just thought I'd help save you a bit of money!!
(I dont work for them or anything like that I'm just a bit of a bargain hunter lol)
I did email customer services and they quoted me the bit about it could take up to 10 days (I'm at 9 right now and still no package) before they send out a duplicate.
I've just always received my orders from them straight away (usually the next day) so am a bit frustrated that 2 in a row have taken longer.
Rowena, thanks for the tip on islandcosmetics.com. I've not heard of them before but will def take a peek at their website and see what I can find!
I've ordered from them before with no problems at all. But there have been postal strikes and floods over the last few weeks so it may be because of that. This latest strike isn't due to end until 8th August although it isn't an all out strike just subject to delays (royal mail website tells you all about it). Grrrrr damned posties, don't they understand that us girls need our stuff
