Spot treatment that works?
Question:

Spot treatment that works?
I only get the odd spot but when I do get them, they tend to be swollen and red and stay under the surface for too long. Can anyone recommend an on-the-spot treatment that really works? I'm prepared to spend a fair bit if it's worth it.
The only thing is that I'm allergic to benzoyl peroxide, which is what they put in the really strong high street brand spot creams like Oxy 10.
Thank you ladies! :)

I normally use Virgin Vie's Guardian Angel Balm on spots and found that that worked really well until recently when it has stopped working for me - not sure if my zits have developed an immunity to it or something!! Last night I was in ASDA and got some Clearasil Ultra Rapid Action Treatment Cream as I've got 3 huge spots at the minute (really red and angry looking but under the skin and not squeezable!!) I started putting it on last night, it says to do it morning and evening but I must have applied it about 4 times in desperation before I went to bed and this morning they looked much better. I put more cream on under my foundation and concealer and it's helped to keep them covered too - they have been shining through after about an hour of make-up application everyday this week!!

It doesn't have benzoyl peroxide but it does have Hydrogen Peroxide :cmeek:

I really liked the dermalogica medicated clearing gel which I had a few samples of.
Otherwise I use a night time cream from lookgr8.com containing glycolic acid.

I am looking for something to fix these sorts of spots too - I'm due on around the time of my wedding and I know I am going to get loads :(
Sudocrem works quite well for taking the redness out, although I think it has Benzyl whatdyoumacallit in.
But I would like to prevent them happening in the 1st place!
