Question:
OPI Nail lacquer -worth the money?
I've been thinking of investing in some OPI nail lacquer for a while now - probably as a result of watching QVC and being lulled in by all the good things they say about it. Was wondering though, is it all hype? Or is it as good as it says? It's quite pricey, so I don't want to buy it if it's no good. Also, if it's not good could anyone recommend a good alternative?
I was going to start a thread called "whats your favourite OPI Colour" lol....
I loveeeee OPI, thats the only nail polish brand i use. I have about 10 of them right now, but i keep buying them, they are very addictive as the colours are soooooooooo cuteeeee!! I think you should try OPI out as they do last long on the nails, and dont cause that streaky effect, or chip as quick as other brands..
In debenhams they are about £9.99 and on lookfantastic.com they are about £9.25. You can get them cheaper on ebay and also on ballbeauty.com.

They are absolutely the best, IMO. They do a fantastic range of colours & they last for years. I have Sahara Sapphire from approx. 10 years ago (I bought an extra) & it has never gone thick or separated. They wear really well & never chip on me. I usually use their Nail Envy as a base & RapiDry Top Coat & my manicures always grow out from the bottom before they wear/chip (never really).
I get mine from www.ballbeauty.com now. They are $5.25 on there & usually $5.95 shipping. They get here within a week. Also, once you are registered with them they let you pre-order for the new collections (quite often before they are available in the UK).
As long as you keep your total order value under £18 equivalent then you shouldn't get any import charges.
Yes, I order from ebay.
I hope they're worth it as I've ordered 5 or 6 from www.ballbeauty.com as I'm having to totally restock my nail polishes as all mine are years old :cmeek:
How long are you supposed to keep nail polishes before you have to throw them out?
