I read a thread (that rhymes!!) mentioning this earlier and wondered if people had ordered from it? Specifically UK/European people...

I know it's a US site but Beyondpale mentioned she ordered from there and never had to pay customs, and I wondered if you have used it could you tell me how much you ordered, if you had to pay customs and how much shipping was please? :D
I am wanting some verrrry cheap OPI but not looking forward to customs!

I've not long ordered from there (still awaiting the parcel though) and as far as I'm aware they havent been in touch re customs.

Thanks bikerbabe, I'm trying to just get the courage to order but am so scared of customs :rolleyes: my Mum will probably persuade me to as when I mentioned it she was very interested and informing me she needed new nail polish... :lol:
How much exactly is cutoms? And do they deliver to your house, or is it collection from P.O?

Not ordered from this website, but I do order things in from the US on a very regular basis.
Anything over £18 you have to pay vat, customs & sometimes an extra delivery charge.:cmdunno:
And it can work out really, really expensive. A few times I have been caught out, and once or twice the vat, customs charges etc worked out nearly as much as the order.:mad:
The trick is to order under the value of £18 which is about $36 depending on the exchange rate. Then you don't have to pay anything!
If there is something that you really want that is over £18, email & ask the company if they would be able to not put the full amount on the declaration form on the box - sometimes they say no - quite often you get a yes!!:)
