I still look old for my age!
Ok i'm 22 and i've always looked very old for my age, since dying hair, getting it cut nicely, wearing make-up i look younger but still look a lot older than 22 as someone at work pointed out so they all expect me to have been working for a good few years and to be a lot more mature etc. and know how to deal with situations...
Any ways i can help make myself look younger?
in what way do you think you look old? it may just mean that you're very sophisticated, clothes, make up style wise. Or do you mean your skin makes you look older?
Not helping much, but maybe you naturally look older. Its not neccessarily a negative. Probably more mature thats all, dont worry about it too much, its not something that you can control.
I have the opposite probably, I just turned 24 and I look a day over 18 at the very most. So people are shocked when I tell them I'm actually 24.....god, I had to present ID to buy Tippex !!!
thanks for the replies - i think its a combination of things - i don't think i have terrible skin - i have some spots and wrinkles under my eyes (had then since 16 i don't think they've gotten any worse - use wise woman eye cream from body shop ), oh i have very dark circles under my eyes....
i dress quite boring and simple and i've bee using make-up since Nov last year so i'm not really comfy with using bright colours for fear of messing i up, so my makeup style is simple and boring too!! :lol: oh and i'm very serious and get along with people in their 30s much better as you can have serious conversations with them easier!!
i think its just me full stop so other people can think whatever they like...can get me down at times though :(
:huggies: Do you personally think you look old though, or do you think your feelings are influenced by what others have been saying? It also depends what you think of as old, it can be a positive thing to look older than you are.
Some people really suit simple clothing, sometimes I have seen someone wearing jeans and a plain black strappy top and they've looked so much better than someone in all the latest fashions. At the end of the day it comes down to what you're comfortable with. :)
