Question:
craftlight/daylight bulbs - the best for making up

seriously if you do one thing buy yourself a craft bulb for the room you do your make up in, it's a sort of bluey-white light that's as close to actual outdoor daylight as possible. brilliant for getting your make up just right. my new favourite thing!:D
What a good/weird idea! :D Good one Juggler. The link doesn't work now because its a bit old but - thanks!
We have one of those light / sunrise simulator alarm clocks. Mr L uses it but it rarely wakes me up unless it's on absolute full blast.
I have two tall thin lamp bases, one on either side of the mirror, with daylight bulbs in (no shades) and I highly recommend them! They're good at any time of the year, but especially on dark winter mornings. It avoids the arrggghhh moment when you get to work and it's daylight and you realise that under artificial light at home your make up application wasn't quite as good as you thought it was
It's like the 'lit' mirrors that Revlon and others sell, but cheaper and a much better light.
