Question:
whats your most traumatic/upsetting incident with makeup!?
Hi all
Just thought it'd be fun to see if anyones had an incidents lol as i was just reliving my own!
it was when when my brother and my dad came to visit me at uni, he was looking at my electric pencil sharpener and jibbin on about finding a pencil and I wasnt paying any attention then he was like YES i found one, to which i turned round and found him with my brand new MAC eye line brutally shoving it into the electric pencil sharpener  !!! I can honestly say it was the most upsetting thing lol and I actually cried ... very sad I know but I love my make up! it was all mushed up and about half the size ... i shudder at the memory lol altho my dad and brother thought it was well funny ... they just don't understand lol
anyone else had simialr things happen??
xxxx
Aw no gravybones! I hope he bought you loads of replacements!
Only incident I can think of where I was pretty upset was when I received my Barbie Loves MAC order back in February. My Pearl Sunshine beauty powder was totally smashed and I couldnt re-order one because it had totally sold out. Luckily I had ordered two but I was still upset :boohoo: .
Oh no I can think of one much worse! Not really a makeup issue but anyway I was in Lakeside and this woman who was demonstrating some hand products grabbed me and before I had time to say get the hell of me she had applied some kind of crappy hand scrub. My dad was totally furious with her! My hands immediately turned bright red and I had to rush to TBS where the lovely SA applied some aloe vera cream to calm it down. When I was walking out of the mall she tried to come at me again actually saying insulting things about my skin which I might add was totally untrue! I was so angry so I turned to all the people standing at her little stall, showed them my bright red hands and said her products are damaging to the skin and they all left! Silly woman

Not really make up ones but have had several hair disasters. Worst one was when I used to have my hair done blonde and decided I would dye it back to brown myself, no one told me you have to use a brown with some red in it or your hair turns green......
Gah these are baaaaad!
My worst one was when I was about 13 maybe 14 and I bought a spray fake tan from AVON, oh lord. Well first off it was the first time I'd used a fake tan and secondly it was a spray so I applied it liberally because I thought it couldn't be that strong being a liquid. OH GAWD. I woke up the next morning a complete state! My Mum let me have the day off school to scrub it all off! That is how bad it was. My hands were the worst, completely orange. I sat in the bath just scrubbing my poor skin :boohoo:
I can honestly say I'll never let that happen again.
Mine was a BeneFit makeover I had last year. They'd wanted volunteers to demonstrate different 'looks'. The lady chose 'English Rose' for me, which I was quite chuffed about.. Until she attacked me! She didn't conceal my redness, used TONS of moonbeam and BeneTint on my cheeks (bearing in mind I'm deathly pale), used a baby blue eyeshadow and a grey eyeliner, AND stained my lips with the 'Tint as well. I looked a state! Honestly, I could've cried, and I had to walk home looking like that. I think I still have the pics somewhere..
