Question:
A big thankyou to MissBean
Inspired by thread, i decided to try and recreate a similar look on myself.
I am naturally cool toned but am not in my first flush of youth and the colours i have always worn on my face dont sit so good on me anymore. My makeup box consists of all sorts of colours becauses ive tried and failed to get that perfect look that i have created so easily before. Ive tried bronzers, gold shades, brown shades and i looked like i needed warming up. My favourite pink and plum shades make me look like mutton dressed as lamb and they dont look right on me either.
Anyway, inspired by MissBeans tutorial i thought i would give Peaches and Apricot shades a go. I bought the Bobbi Brown Shimmer Brick in Apricot. Selected a Bobbi Brown Blush in Apricot and just to top it off i bought Bobbi Browns lipstick in Warm Apricot. I had a play last week and was suitably impressed. I am not so sure about the lipstick though as i think its a tad too "warm" for my skin tone but am hoping to go to Boots next week to find one that i think would be more suitable. I have sat and put a full face on this morning and i can honestly say. I have found my perfect makeup look.
Thanks Jen, you have dug me out of a very black hole and saved me a fortune in the process.
I am delighted, I really am. Absolutely thrilled that it was so useful to you
Love the sound of your Bobbi Brown! :faint:
I can't tell you how chuffed I am that it worked for you :D
xx
