Question:
Might be wrong place to post but TOWELS how do you keep yours soft?
Just recently bought some really lovely soft yummy towels and washed them and they are nasty and hard now.
i havent a clue.
Any ideas?
I would love to know this too, my towels practically stand up by themselves as they are so stiff when they have been washed.
Some nice softner like comfort concentrate and then dried in the tumble dryer makes mine very soft and fluffy
But sometimes i prefer to dry things outside, the smell is much better.
Deep xx
You shouldn't use fabric softener on towels - it effectively coats the sticky-outy bits [technical term] which makes them soft, but pretty much useless for actual drying.
I've no idea how to keep them soft, though - if you use a tumble dryer, how about trying those spiky dryer ball things?
Tumble dryer makes the world of difference. Mr C's mum hasn't got one and her towels are rough, we have and our towels are soft :)
