Compact foundation recs
Question:

Compact foundation recs
I'm thinking of getting a compact foundation, preferably a powder format. I think it would be quicker than doing liquid foundation and then a powder on top. I like a fairly natural finish, nothing too heavy. I was thinking about MAC studiofix but a friend of mine said that it turns orange on her skin after a couple of hours. Has anyone else experienced that? Any recs for other powder foundations would be great as well!

Answers:

I have MAC Studio Fix and love it. I was recommended NW20 which looked OK at first but then went orange so I was told by a different MA to get a shade lighter because the oils in your skin react with the powder and make it darker. So I have NW15 and its perfect :D

Answers:

I highly recommend the shiseido one as the colour is very natural on me, it feels very light but still covers all the imperfections!

Answers:

That's what I was worried about with the MAC one as my skin colour is NW15 so I can't really go a shade lighter as there isn't one!

The shiseido one sounds nice but I don't think that there is a shiseido counter anywhere near me unfortunately.

Hiya!
I use Max Factor Facefinity compact and love it. It mattifies and evens out my skin tone but still has a very natural finish. It's perfect for touch-ups during the day if needed.
Some months ago I fancied trying something new, but despite trying various compact foundations, powders and other products, none of them really did the trick, and all took longer to do......as soon as I came back to MF I thought, "Why did I ever change?!"
