For the hard skin, definitely get a microplane footfile: http://www.hqhair.com/code/preview.asp?PageID=1001
I had hideous hooves instead of feet until I tried this.
Toenails I'm not so sure about. Mine are a bit yellow because I usually have nail polish on them. I just paint them to cover them up. Using a base coat should prevent discolouration from nail varnish. If you're sure you've not got any kind of nail infection then probably just making sure you remove nail polish and give yourself a pedicure every few weeks should help.

Your best bet is to get to a chiropodist for an MOT. Then you will be able to maintain the effects much better than starting from scratch yourself. YOu come away feeling like you've got new feet - it's great :D

also go to your doctor - you could have a fungal nail infection -i had one years ago, got antibiotics and it cleared up my toenails...
go to a chiropodist and then from then on you can get a microplane to maintain your feet :)

I definately second the rec for the microplane. It's so much better than all the other footfiles around.
I also recommend l'occitane shea butter foot cream. I use the hand cream version on my feet sometimes. And I find it very good, leaves my feet lovely and soft. The hand and feet versions are basically the same thing though, apart from the formulations of shea butter. So I assume the proper foot one will be as good and probably better.
Creams containg urea are always recommended for dry, hard skin on the feet as well. As they exfoliate away the hard dead skin (I think). Eucerin do one that contain 10% urea, which you can pick up at Boots.
HTH :)
