Not a happy bunny, skin has gotten worse
Question:

Not a happy bunny, skin has gotten worse
  Morning,
You may remember me raving about my Microdermabrasion facials, unfortuantely when I turned up last week I ended up with someone different to normal, my face didn't feel as clean (almost greasy) and the next day I work up with nine spots! My skin has been looking so much recently but when I do get a spot they take at least a month to heal and I have a wedding and some tradefairs coming up & feel so ugly I don't want to leave the house. I'm suppose to have one tonight but I'm scared of looking even worse.
Sorry, I think I'm just feeling sorry for myself.

Hi Cornetto

My skin is terrible too atm so I know how you feel. I don't want to leave the house either :(

Have you been to the doctors? If you get something prescribed from the doctors it is much more likely to work. I have just been and prescribed dianette and a topical gel and feel better already.

Hope you start to feel better soon :)

Thanks Kiki,
My problem is that I reacted to some medication for my Migraines (which also rules out dianette/yasmin) & that started a chain reaction of health problems and my skin flared up really badly & hasn't been right since (this was over two years ago) the Microdermabrasion was helping loads but it was a different person to last week & my skin didn't feel clean afterwards & the next day I got all the spots, had been quite clear before.
Cornetto
Ps Doctor not much help, did prescribe medication/cream but didn't do much, told me not to worry about it.

Hi Cornetto
I have moderate acne and have been taking erythromycin for the past 2 and a half months. It seems to have cleared it from my chin (my problem area) but now it's just moved to my cheeks and jaw. I also have migraines, so am unable to take the pill, which is upsetting because my skin was fine years ago when I was on it. I don't take medication for my migraines - in fact they have been mainly aura symptoms before last week. I saw the doc who gave me some co-codamol, which gave me horrible stomach pains and I now have dreadful skin, worse than it has been for about 3 months. I'm at my wits end really. I'm going back to the doctor on Friday, so if I learn anything helpful I'll pass it on. You should harass your GP though, it's not good enough to tell you now to worry :( .

 Hi powerpuff_girl,
How did you get on at the Doc?
(Sorry for the delay in replying, I've just realised I had forgotten about this thread)
