Question:
eye cream
Does anyone have any good recs for an eye cream? I don't want to spend a stupid amount of money and not sure if any even work but ideally I'd like one to reduce dark circles. I have just started to use the simple daily radiance one but would still like suggestions please!
I've never found one to reduce my dark circles rachel.
I've kind of come to the conclusion that a cream can't get rid of them.
I would recommend clarins eye revive flash balm. It temporarily brightens circles. It makes more of a difference than creams that are meant to permanantly fade do. And it doesn't really matter that it's only a temporary effect. As you can just apply it every day, which you would be doing with a regular eye cream anyway.
Two that are designed to fade circles, that do help a little for me are nivea's anti shadow eye cream and benefit's eyecon cream. I wouldn't repurchase the eyecon though, I don't think. I don't think the results justify the price. The nivea one is only around £5 though, so it's worth it.
:)
I agree with Cindy. I can't budge my dark shadows at all. But the Nivea cream does help a little, especially as it is so cheap.
I'll check out the Clarins cream though.
TBS Wise woman eye cream is half price at £7.50 at the moment because of a pump fault and that is the best one we do for dark circles. But as people have said, they are a bastard to budge.
Vitamin K is renowned for being a great skin healer but any eye cream containing that will cost a fortune, so I would reccomend an eye cream containing as high levels of vitamin C as possible. TBS do a Vitamin C eye serum (which is 10% Vit C) and that is a skin brightener. I use the TBS skin boost (20%) over my eyes as well and I never *ever* get dark circles, even when I've had like an hours sleep!
The nivea anti-shadow one is quite good, not perfect but better than normal creams and a reasonable price so if you don't like it its not a huge loss.
