Question:
Bronze shimmer brick- any tips?
Hey :)
Got this recently but I'm not 100% sure how to use it/where to put it/what brush to use?
I applied some with my blusher brush just where I'd put my blusher and it didn't really show up on me.
Should I be using I different type of brush?
Thanks to anyone who has any tips! :flower:
See I find my MAC 187 brush good for my shimmerbricks. Picks up the right amount and allows you to distribute it evenly without making a glittery mess of yourelf.
I apply mine the same way I do blush and put it on top of my blusher.
I found that BB's Blender Brush worked best with my Beige shimmer brick. A normal blush brush didnt pick up anything with that shade. But with my Brownie, the BB blender brush was too firm and left too much colour on my face, in a stripe across my cheekbone, as the brush is quite small and narrow. I use a large soft kabuki brush for Brownie.
I use the Brownie one as a bronzer as the colour is very sunkissed on me (NC37). I use it on my cheekbones bridge of the nose, forehead etc....anywhere the sun naturally catches my face. I found that when I used it as a regular blusher on the apples of my cheeks, it looked a bit too 'fake' and shimmery.
Ah thanks you two. I think the hairs on my blusher brush are a bit too soft or maybe I just didn't apply enough. The 187 brush is on my list anyway so will try it with that when I get it.
I think brownie is quite similar to bronze, so will try is in those area you've suggested aswell.
thanx :flower:
I apply it over blusher with the MAC 187 stippling brush.
