Question:
mac studio fix nc 45
Hi
Had a splurge the other week on mac cosmetics and the consultant matched my foundation etc etc etc which was luvely the powder she sold me was the Blot in dark.
I'm finding the whole thing quite orangey and was wondering if sum1 could recommend a powder to replace the blot as it's very matte and I want a bit of sheen and to tone dwn the orange of the foundation if you know wot i mean
I'm looking at the select sheer and the other 1 called iridescent but wouldn't know which one to get.
My nearest mac store is 70 miles away so need to get it online really
I'm an NC45 and use MAC loose powder in NC50 on top and MAC blot in Deep Dark as a touch up during the day.
The iridescent would be sjimmery, no? Reason I say that is cos I have teh MAC iridescent powder in SIlver Dusk and that's silver and shimmery.
Post a link to it from the site.
Thanxs caramel
Nc50 not on the mac website wonder if it's store only.
Do you find it tones the foundation down 4 u my daughter says i lwk orange even tho it's same colour as my neck
Nd the silver dusk 1 is that nice on top
wt bout a bronza do you use dat
Hmmm it shouldn't be loioking orangey whether it matches your neck or not. The powder doesn''t tone it down cos my foundation is a perfect match - I just use it to combat shine.
I do have a MAC bronzing powder in Bronze but I don't use it much.
The Silver Dusk sits nice as a highlighter.
Thanks again caramel x
Mayb I need to experiment more with it
I gotta day off today so i think I'll play about with my makeup to c if i can tone it down.
Also another thing if i'm nc 45 in the studio fix what would i be in the mineralize satin finish or the select spf 15
I'm not liking the matte effect really and want to c if these otha foundations give more of a dewy skin effect
