Question:
St Tropez advice needed
Just bought an instant tanning system by St. Tropez
It consists of
*Body Polisher
*Body Moisturiser
*Tinted self-tan lotion
I also got a soft mitt and some latex gloves.
Now I'm worried! Have I bought the wrong stuff? Looked back on a few threads and everyone seems to be more into the 'everyday' one... does that mean this is going to be really dark? I thought I'd be able to apply it say once everyweek using this kit and it would look OK!
What do I do with my face? I dont want to slap self tan lotion on it if it's going to go dead dark by morning.
I had a St Tropez lotion fake tan done at a beauty salon before and I went orange :o Uh oh, this is going to have the same effect isnt it?
If I use it, will it stain my bed sheets tonight? Staying at OH's and dont think he'd be very impressed!
Don't be too scared by the dark colour in the bottle - it goes on much lighter and won't develop to be too dark.
However, you will need to give yourself more time, more careful moisturisation and exfoliation and more time putting it on, than you would with a gradual tanner, which can be slapped on with less care!
As regards it coming off on sheets - yes - I find it does. Everyone sweats naturally in their sleep and you'll probably find it will leave marks, although they do wash out. I must admit I'd not be putting this on before an er...."romantic evening" as the guide colour can look a bit patchy while it's developing. Probably best for an evening in on your own when you can slob about looking as patchy as you like!

Thanks Sheep! Will wait till Sunday then, am sure he wouldnt bat an eyelid if I was slobbing around looking streaky, hes seen me in worse states  but dont like the idea of it coming off onto sheets his Mum will have to wash! Also with sweating, sharing a bed with another person makes the bed a lot hotter!
Thanks again
